Rob Balsewich is an artist, musician, and educator born in Evergreen Park, IL, in 1999. He received a BA in Art Practices and Psychology from University of Colorado at Boulder in 2021. Rob currently lives, studies, and works in Washington, D.C., and will graduate from American University in Spring of 2026 with an MFA in Studio Art. Working across diverse mediums, Rob blends painting, drawing, sculpture, and installation to create artworks that investigate the self-concept in relation to community.

As an educator, Rob has taught, tutored, coached, and mentored students of all ages and backgrounds across the country, and he continually emphasizes accessibility to arts education as a cornerstone for social justice.
